}Weirdest Album Review Ever!!!08-10-07
The Philadelphia Weekly has included TSQ's FUZZBOX in their album reviews this week.....but the catch is they only look at the album cover and do not listen to the music. Which completely disregards the Doobies Brothers' reason for being.

Here's what they said:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TWO NEW RELEASES AT A GLANCE. LITERALLY.

UNWRAPPED

JUDGING TWO NEW CDS BY THEIR COVERS.

Section Quartet
Fuzzbox (Decca)
Described as: The Section Quartet challenge ideas about the role of strings in rock, pop and alternative music, and also fundamental notions about what a rock band can be.

At a glance: This group looks very hip, happening, now and extremely cutting edge. I have great feelings about the future of these performers. And it's really decent of them to let a masseuse in the picture too.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Huh?!?!? Masseuse?!?!? Anyone who can accurately tell us what they mean by that (and the review's writer is not excluded from this) will get a free TSQ t-shirt.....which will be available in about two weeks.

Thanks to the Philadelphia Weekly for the mention. We'll be in Philly later this year!

}IN THE STUDIO01-27-07
Another week has gone by and we’re still hard at work on our album. Wednesday-Friday with Linda; Saturday and Sunday with Jon, and then back with Linda starting Monday. We did take a few minutes Saturday morning to join producer John Fields and arranger Steve Lu and engineer Ross Hogarth in the studio with ROONEY, a very cool, young band who is going to blow people away with their new album. Check out the band-on-band action!

}IN THE STUDIO01-24-07
TSQ is currently working on our debut album for Decca Records with producers Linda Perry and Jon Brion! We have about eight songs tracked so far, but we can’t wait for everyone to hear the album. We’re tackling Radiohead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Queens of the Stone Age, but also have some surprises up our sleeves. Let’s just say that this will be the first string quartet album you'll want to turn up to 11.

}COACHELLA 200604-20-06
Woohoo! Coachella 2006 was a blast! There were an estimated 60,000 people in attendance each day this year! We opened the Main Stage at the festival once again; this time, bigger, better and louder! And with more stylish duds. The 50-foot-tall LED screens on either side of the stage displayed giant close-ups of each member of the band, although Daphne moved around the stage so much, apparently her cameraman gave up halfway through the set! For you lucky ones, we threw out a few T-shirts and a couple hundred of the now coveted "The Section Quartet lip balm". Ain't it good stuff?!! It was so popular it might have to make an appearance at future shows. We were proud this year to share the bill with other artists such as Sigur Ros, Digable Planets, Matisyahu, Franz Ferdinand and one of our favorites, Tool — just to name a few of the 70 bands who played the festival this year! And yes, that was us sitting in with Cat Power!

We'll be back! Talk us up and help us campaign for 2008!
